I know it's a bit early for a Christmas-based pun but I just couldn't resist! The halls, or should I say music venues are packed (and rightly so) with adoring fans of the artist I'm going to tell you about...
So without anymore jibber jabber, I'm excited to share that this week, my favourite find is 'Scarlett' by the super-talented Holly Humberstone.

The synthpop star has been steadily gaining recognition in the music industry, supporting no other than THE Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour last month! With lyrics like: "we go together like bad British weather on the one day I made plans", shows relatability and a writing style that is so on the money of the Gen Z/millennial dating scene/experience.
Listen/watch 'Scarlett' here:
Just how cool is the video and song?! Answer: very.
I first discovered Holly's music through TikTok and it appears I wasn't the only one since she's amassed 190k+ followers on the platform. From being a bedroom pop singer, to getting signed to Polydor - what a BIG achievement and one that she takes seriously whilst having loads of fun too!
Even though the music video for 'Scarlett' was released three years ago, it still feels and sounds fresh. Besides, music doesn't technically have an expiry date, right? I really hope that 'Scarlett' goes on to be a classic that we're singing to at the school reunion thirty years from now...
